CityTreks ™ is a fun, interactive live action educational show for children that encourages curiosity and discovery about nature in their urban surroundings. I created City Treks to center Black and Brown children in urban metropolitan areas joyfully embracing nature as a positive and vital part of their lives.
Each episode will highlight and encourage exploration of local green spaces by reflecting a positive reconnection with land and environmental stewardship as representatives of their communities.
The show’s first season is based in Washington, D.C. and features original music, hands-on learning and insight from local experts to engage the young audience.
